Each student is to write one papers in four parts. Since this class is looking at theories, each student will take three different theoreticians and analyze each person’s work. Each part will be in two sections. The first will be a statement of the theoretical perspective of the theoretician, the second part will be a demonstration of how that theory is used in his or her analysis of some issue. For example, you might look at Durkheim, note that he is a functionalist (explaining what is meant by that), and use his study of suicide as an example of his theory. Each part should be 1250 words
