Instructions for Case Analysis

Choose any Case in the textbook (pp. 257-455) except for the following cases: Enron: Were They the Crookedest Guys in the Room?, Google: Don’t Be Evil Unless . . ., and HealthSouth: The Rise and Fall of the Scrushy Empire. Analyze your chosen case and prepare a 3-4 page case analysis that summarizes the case and answers the questions at the end of the case. Specifically, complete the following:
Briefly summarize the main points of your chosen case (no more than one page). Analyze the case and include in your analysis all textbook chapters that are significantly relevant to this case. Relevant chapters may include those that have already been assigned according to the syllabus and those that haven’t yet been assigned. Explain why the chapters are relevant, including major points covered in the chapters. Create a separate paragraph for each chapter being analyzed with the chapter number in bold as a heading. This analysis must be separate from the summary. Answer the Questions for Thought at the end of the case. Note: Make sure all answers to the questions have depth and include your reasoning supported by ethics frameworks, principles, ideas, etc. from your textbook.

Instructions for Formatting

Use Times New Roman 12-point font Use MS Word default margins Double space the document Tab at the beginning of each paragraph Begin with the Summary and answer the bullet points in the order they are presented Use left justified headings with bold and italics to identify each section of the case analysis. Note: Each bullet point represents a section Answer the Questions for Thought at the end of the case in the order they are presented. Type the question and then give your answer Use page numbering to number your pages in the upper right corner Include a footer with your name Submit the case analysis as a MS Word (2003 or 2007) file attachment via the BB Learn Assignment window for this assignment
