Pay for the performance System is a great idea as this could and should push the teacher to help and be there for the children. There are teachers that you can tell are just teaching for a paycheck. This could help children get a better education but also get the teacher more into the children.
Challenges of the pay for performance would have to be if there was no money in the budget for this program anymore. It would be hard to just take this away. You would need to make sure that this is a program that the company/ school system could pay for.

What are some of the most significant benefits of the Pay for Performance System?
I believe that it will help attract new teachers to the school system .It also can create competition among the staff and become more motivated.
The school system may also have an increased retention of employees. Employees may feel loyal to the system ultimately.
If the funds are delivered to the school then students could also benefit in the form of new services, equipment and teaching instruments. The children again benefit if their overall grades improve.
What are the main areas of concern with the implementation of a Pay for Performance System?
One of the key concerns is that quantification of quality can be difficult. There are also great concerns about measurements being easily manipulated.
Most often in education these days the pay raises are based on student test scores; with that many think you’re only measuring a narrow piece of the teacher’s work. Is there adequate funding for the new pay system and is it sustainable. Lastly the cost of administrating and implementing the program is an often a big drawback.
