Memorandum to Employees

Attention Retail Employees:
In an effort to battle increasing costs of operations such as rising gas prices, the California Fab retail store locations will be operating under hours of operation. Our retail stores will open one hour later and close one hour earlier each day, Monday - Saturday. Please note that each store will be closed on Sunday. These changes in store hours will also instill a restructuring of the working hours of the employee. Your direct managers will disclose any changes to your work schedule that come as a result of these changes.
With these alterations to store operations, the current retail locations will remain open. However, we will not be opening any new locations.
These necessary changes will allow our company to continually service our customers as well as maintain gainful employment for our staff members. We strongly encourage staff members to have a good work/life balance and the additional time off will provide more time for home, family, and you.
We hope this reduces the amount of stress on our team members as they continue to grow the company. Thank you for all your hard work!
Sincerely,
-Ray Finkle

Subject: Reformatting of Employee Workweek

Management Team,
In an effort to fiscally combat our rising costs of operations, we have altered your hours of operation for the retail stores. Our retail stores will open one hour later and close one hour earlier each day, Monday - Saturday. Moving forward, each store will be closed on Sunday. These changes in store hours will also instill a restructuring of the working hours of the employee. Full-time staff members will be working 4 10-hour days each week while part-time employees will be scheduled 1-,2-, or 3-day workweeks.
These necessary changes will allow our company to continually service our customers as well as maintain gainful employment for our staff members. We strongly encourage staff members to have a good work/life balance and the additional time off will provide more time for home, family, and you.
If for any reason one of your employees approaches you regarding this matter, please handle it delicately or redirect the team member to contact Human Resources or the next level of management.
Thank you for your time and efforts,
-Ralph Macchio
